Part of a fic I'm making with Zarla's permission

Here's part of the fic :




The dark animalistic creature let out a roar at the sight of the growling infected, and the cat-hooded hunter followed suit, letting a dangerous growl that resounded in the darkness of the alley.

Have they been able to speak or had their growls been words the sound that echoed in the brick walls would have been that of a single question.

“why?”

Heart broken and in the middle of their rage they demanded each other the reason, yet knowing there was none, their ones they cared for were dead, the green hooded hunter blamed the creature in front of her, and the creature blamed her, there was only one possible ending to this.

The growling hunter jumped down from her sanctuary in the stairs and crunched, her growl was getting stronger by the second, her body was tense and ready, her fangs showing in a lethal display and the dark blood streaks in her eyes were increasing, blood poring from her empty sockets in a bloody cry.

The beast lowered it’s head, preparing itself, her body was weak now, the wounds were not reacting to her healing, and two seals had already appeared, sign that her former master was calling her, yet, she unsheathed her claws, she would take her revenge from this creature, as she had done with all the others.
